iOS 11 Supported Devices: Your Quick Compatibility Check
As the release date of the iOS 11 draws closer and closer, we cannot help but anticipate what the new operating system will feature. Surely, Apple has looked to the faults that lay in the previous iteration, the iOS 10, and has introduced a set of new features which will make the eleventh installment of Apple’s signature operating system one of the strongest entries in the series. Here, we have tried and broken down the list of iOS 11 supported devices which will ensure that you do not have any problem migrating to the newer OS.
Before we proceed, a quick check of the facts available to us is important. This is the operating system on which the newer Apple devices will run in the future. First announced at the 2017 Worldwide Developers’ Conference on June 5, the iOS 11 is significant as it will also be a special occasion for Apple, which is also scheduled to launch the tenth-generation Apple iPhone this year.
iOS 11 Supported Devices: Is Your Device Supported?
Now, we come to the crux of the entire matter: the iOS 11 compatibility list. Note that not all of the currently available Apple devices will be compatible with the iOS 11. As is normal business practice, Apple will also look to phase out a few devices which have gotten old. The list of supported devices for iOS 11 is a pretty long one and one thing is rapidly obvious: that Apple has tried and added the maximum number of devices to the list.
The list includes:

- iPhone 6 Plus
- iPhone SE
- iPhone 5s
All of the devices you see in the list will support the iOS 11 and will have no problems. However, in case your device is not present in the list, you will need to upgrade your device. Else, you will have to stick to using the currently existing iOS 10.
Is the Apple iPhone 5C iOS 11 Compatible?
This is one of the many questions that Apple enthusiasts have been asking over the past few days. The short answer is no, the Apple iPhone 5C will not be an iOS 11 Compatible device. In case you are using an iPhone 5C, you will not be able to upgrade to the iOS 11. The higher-end sibling of the iPhone 5C, which is the iPhone 5S, will, however, receive the updated operating system. Also, as of now, the iPhone 5C is treated as Apple’s entry-level smartphone.

The following devices are all iOS 11 compatible. They are listed in order of launch, which means that the most recently launched device is on top.

In case you do not see your device on the list of iOS 11 supported devices, you can do two things. One, you can continue using the iOS 10 or whichever OS your device currently has. Alternatively, you can migrate to a newer device.
